Can we transfer money from one mobile wallet to another wallet ? (eg paytm to free charge)

In 2–3 months, digital wallets will become inter-operable. RBI has recently announced to open UPI(Unified Payment Interface) platform for e-wallets. This not only means that you can transfer money from one wallet to another but also you will be able to pay directly to a merchant with a Paytm digital wallet from your MobiKwik wallet or PhonePe wallet.

How much amount we can add in Paytm wallet?

As per RBI rules, all wallet have limit of Rs 10,000 trasaction per month, if not kyc verified.
And if you verify KYC, you can spend unlimited and can store upto Rs 1 lakh in your wallet.

Can I transfer money from my PayTM wallet to Ola Money or MobiKwik?
You need an app with all kinds of payment gateways to do that for you but its better to use bank transfer feature in paytm app,

Know why you’re unable to send money to another Paytm customer

Sending money from one Paytm wallet to another is extremely easy and fast. When you initiate the request to ‘Send money’ to another Paytm wallet customer, either of the following three situations may arise:
1. Balance deducted from your wallet and immediately received: Sender and receiver, both are registered Paytm customers, and the balance transfer happens within seconds.
2. Balance deducted from your wallet but not received immediately: It could happen because of these two reasons:
a. Receiver does not have a Paytm wallet — if that is the case, we send an SMS to the receiver with a link to create a Paytm account and receive the money. If the recipient does not create an account within 48 hours, you will get the (transferred) amount back in your wallet.
b. Incorrect mobile number — you have mistakenly entered an incorrect mobile number. In that case, you could contact that customer & request them to return your money. In future, we recommend you to double check the mobile number.
3. Balance not deducted from your wallet & transaction failed: transaction failure happens because:

 a. Monthly wallet transaction/ balance limit has exhausted — as per RBI guidelines, the balance of minimum KYC wallet can not exceed INR 20,000. If this transfer has breached that limit, the money transfer would fail. The customers (recipient), in such situations, can opt to upgrade their wallet by initiating KYC request. As per RBI guidelines, monthly balance limit of a KYC wallets is INR 1, 00, 000. To know more about the monthly transaction limits of your Paytm wallet, read here.
b. The number does not exist — The number can not be verified or/ and does not exist.
